He compared it to the Bushehr nuclear power plant, which has a capacity of 1,000 megawatts. It’s like trying to fill a bucket with water, but the bucket has a giant hole in it!

Despite the authorities‘ best efforts, the situation with unauthorized cryptocurrency mining persists. Mashhadi thinks the Economic Security Police should work a bit harder to catch those sneaky mining operations. And if they get caught, they’ll be fined three times the value of their equipment. Ouch!

Rising temperatures and growing industrial power requirements have made the situation even more dire. The energy crisis has led Iran to temporarily close governmental facilities, educational institutions, and financial institutions throughout the country. It’s a bit like a domino effect!

Experts predict that Iran will face a deficit of 25,000 megawatts in electricity production for the upcoming year, which is approximately thirty percent of national power usage. It’s a bit like trying to run a marathon with a broken leg!

The Central Bank of Iran plans to introduce new regulations to keep an eye on cryptocurrency activities. Iranian cryptocurrency holders reportedly hold assets valued between $30 billion and $50 billion. It’s a bit like a big ol‘ pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
